The keypad on YRD models of Yale Smart Locks lights up with white lights when the Lock is operating correctly.
When the battery level drops below 30%, the keypad on the Lock will flash red. Any attempt to use the lock will not be successful including entering personal codes or remotely locking/unlocking the door.
The batteries on the Smart Lock need to be replaced immediately in order to use the device again.

If you are outside of the home while the keypad is flashing red, you will need a 9-volt battery to access the home.
Touch the 9-volt battery to the prongs on the bottom of the keypad. Hold this battery for 10-15 minutes. In the process, attempt to press in the code on the keypad. If the keypad lights up a white color, this indicates the lock has enough battery power to operate correctly.
If the 9-volt battery is not helping, contact the Propify Smart Home Team at 866-833-0449.
