If the Smart Lock is making a clicking noise, this is an indicator of an incorrectly-handed lock. The deadbolt handle thinks it should be turning in one direction, but it needs to be turning in the opposite direction. 


This can be easily fixed by contacting the Propify Smart Home Team.   

  •  The Smart Home Team will provide a Programming Code to test with the Lock. 
  • Enter the six (6) digit Programming Code on the keypad, followed by the Gear Symbol on the bottom-right. 
  • Press the number 3, followed by the Gear Symbol.  
  • Turn the lock with your hand so that the deadbolt is fully engaged.  
  • Return to the keypad and press the number 5, followed by the Gear Symbol twice.  The lock will chime three (3) time , indicating that the lock is now handed in the correct direction. 
  • Test the six (6) digit Programming Code again, the door should act appropriately.
