When a Propify Hub is installed in the home, it must be mounted to the wall before leaving the premises. This protects the Hub from being inadvertently damaged or discarded.
Leaving it on the floor, in the kitchen, or on a piece of furniture can lead to loss or damage.
Mount the Hub to the wall by following the steps below:
1. Find a spot on the wall above the outlet, suitable for mounting the hub between shoulder and waist height.
2. Use the wall mount template provided in the Propify box to install screws into the wall at the specified width (64mm apart).
NOTE: Screws are not provided in the Propify Smart Home box.
3. Hang the Hub on the wall using the screw mounts.
4. (Optional) After hanging the hub on the wall, horizontally stretch pipe strap across the Hub.
5. Using one (1) screw on each side, secure the pipe strap on the wall so it lays flush on the Hub. At this point, the Hub should NOT be able to be removed from the wall.
