- NOTE: the Propify Installation Guide will be updated with multiple thermostat models, so you may ignore the current thermostat name and photos on the Installation Guide. The steps below will guide you through this process.
2. Under "Available Devices to Pair", select GoControl Thermostat. Press Continue until you reach the "Exclusion Mode" screen.
3. On the thermostat's touchscreen, press the Menu button on the bottom-center of the screen.
- If the thermostat screen says "Exclude", continue to step 5. If the screen says "Set Controller to Inclusion Mode", you may skip to step 7.
5. On the Propify Installation Guide, press the Exclusion Mode button. The Propify Hub will search for a device that can be cleared of any additional pairings. Since a thermostat can only be paired to one hub at a time, this step must be taken.
- If the thermostat says "Excluded.. Done", you can press Select and continue to step 8. If the thermostat said "Failed", press Done and repeat steps 3-7.
7. Press Continue on the Propify Installation Guide screen to reach the Inclusion Mode page and press the Inclusion Mode button. The Propify Hub will now begin broadcasting a signal that allows another devices to connect to the Hub.
8. On the thermostat's Z-Wave Setup screen, press Select to see a message that reads "Set Controller to Inclusion Mode". Press Select on the thermostat.
After about 30 seconds, the thermostat will visually provide the result of the pairing request. If the process was successful, the thermostat will say "Included" and return to the home screen. The Propify Installation Guide will also redirect you to the home screen.
If the process failed, the thermostat screen will say "Failed". At this point, please retry steps 3-5 and 8-9.
Once the thermostat is paired, Verify Your System Is Completely Paired.
