Smart Lock Status
Monitor the status of your home lock at all times from the resident portal. When you're logged into the resident portal, you can easily view the dashboard which provides the current status of your home lock, the battery level and the ability to refresh the system.
From the dashboard, you can create numerous lock codes that permit access to your home whether you have a master code for your family or limited codes for visitors to allow for easy entry if you're not at the home.
Create Lock Code - No Schedule
To create a lock code that does not expire and can be used at all times, you want to create a code that does not have a schedule. This kind of code is useful for full-time residents of the home who can use the code to enter instead of their house key.
Click Lock Codes from the left side navigation and click Add Lock Code. In the box that appears, complete the following fields:
- Name - Give the lock code a distinct name to help track who should have this code
- Code - type in your own 5-digit code or click Generate Code to have a random code created
- Schedule Dropdown - select No Schedule if you want this code to be active at all times unless deleted
Create Lock Code - Daily Repeating
To create a lock code that is active on a specific date and time on a recurring basis, you want to create a lock code that will repeat based on the schedule you set. This code is useful if you have visitors to home at specific days and times when you are not at home as this will permit access only during the times specified.
Click Lock Codes from the left side navigation and click Add Lock Code. In the box that appears, complete the following fields:
- Name - Give the lock code a distinct name to help track who should have this code
- Code - type in your own 5-digit code or click Generate Code to have a random code created
- Schedule Dropdown - select Daily Repeating, choose the applicable days and set the time the lock code is active.
Entering this code will only work on the date(s) and time saved.
Create Lock Code - Start Time & Expiration
To create a lock code that is active for a single day, you want to create a lock code that will not repeat and be inactivated after the specified date. This code is useful if you have maintenance vendors visiting when you're not at home.
Click Lock Codes from the left side navigation and click Add Lock Code. In the box that appears, complete the following fields:
- Name - Give the lock code a distinct name to help track who should have this code
- Code - type in your own 5-digit code or click Generate Code to have a random code created
- Schedule Dropdown - select Start Time & Expiration, choose the applicable day the code should be active
Entering this code will only work on the date saved.
