1. To begin pairing the 2GIG thermostat to the Propify hub, press the Add Device button on the Propify installation Guide.
  • Note: the Propify Installation Guide will be updated with multiple thermostat models, so you may ignore the current thermostat name and photos on the Installation Guide.  The steps below will guide you through this process.  

   

2. Under "Available Devices to Pair", select GoControl Thermostat.  Press Continue until you reach the "Exclusion Mode" screen. 



3. To access the thermostat's settings, press and hold the MODE button on the button left side until you see "Setup" appear on the thermostat screen. This may take up to five (5) seconds.




4. To access the Z-Wave pairing menu, press the Up or Down arrows on the right hand side to scroll down until you see the "Z-Wave" option on the screen.




5. Once you see "Z-Wave" on the screen, press the FAN button on the top-left corner to enter the menu.





  • If the screen says "Remove", continue to step 6. 
  • If the screen says "Install", skip to step 8.


6. On the Propify Installation Guide, press the Exclusion Mode button.  At this point, the Propify Hub will search for a device that can be cleared of any additional pairings.  Since a thermostat can only be paired to one hub at a time, this step must be taken.



7. On the thermostat screen, press the FAN button on the top-left corner.  At this point, the thermostat will visually flash between "Wait" and "Excluding" before displaying the final result.   



  • If the thermostat says "Success", you can press FAN and continue to step 8.  
  • If the thermostat said "Failed", press Done and repeat steps 3-7.   


8. Press Continue on the Propify Installation Guide screen to reach the "Inclusion Mode" page and press the Inclusion Mode button. The Propify hub will now begin broadcasting a signal that allows another devices to connect to the Hub.   



9. On the thermostat's Z-Wave screen, press the FAN button to see the message that reads "Install".  Press Select on the thermostat.   
  • The thermostat will begin flashing between "Wait" and "Install" for about 30 seconds before visually displaying a final result.   
  • If the thermostat says "Success", you may press the MODE button on the thermostat. The Propify Installation Guide will re-direct you to the home screen.  
  • If the process failed, the thermostat screen will say "Failed".  At this point, please retry steps 3-5 and 8-9.   


Once the device is paired, Verify Your System Is Completely Paired.
